Scary

On Saturday, Me and Matt, Jess and Tyler, Mary and Devon went to this movie and it scared me so bad. Pretty much the whole time I was covering my ears and Matt was covering my eyes. Movies like this I don't think are worth seeing. It leaves a bad feeling and you just get sick after (well, talking about myself). I don't recommend this movie to anyone. If you end up going to see it and love it, good for you!

Kayli's birthday/girls night

On Friday night the girls were able to get together to celebrate Kayli's birthday. Even though it's not till the first of April, we decided to celebrate. I was the person that made calls to see if we could somehow get together and it worked out perfectly. We had pizza and cake. It was fun to talk about what's new and it was fun just to see them again.

Flying a kite

This was the third attempt to fly a kite. The first time we took Tia (our niece) and there was no wind so of course the kite didn't go anywhere; the second time it was just Matt that went outside to fly it but there was no wind again; the third time which was today was quite beautiful and had plenty of wind so Matt and I decided to go to the high school to fly it and I ended up breaking the kite because of the strength of the wind. I felt bad but oh well what could you do?! When we got home Tia said, "it's windy, let's go fly a kite" and so even though the kite was broken we let her fly it! She's cute!

Bowling

On Friday we hung out with friends and went bowling. We had Matt's sisters come along and it was so much fun! Janae is home from Washington and we are so glad to see her, even though she is only staying just for 10 days (we'll miss her)! The people that all went were, Me and Matt, Tyler and Jess, Eric and Maegan, Josh, Kaylee, and Janae. We weren't able to finish our little game since our lane kept breaking so we ended up leaving on the seventh round and went to Ihop.

Park City

Park city was so much fun! Matt and I decided that it was time for the both of us to get new clothes so we got work off and went to Park city. On that day, we watched a basketball game and headed up. After the long day of shopping we stopped at Tucanos and ate some delicious food! It was GREAT!

Wedding Day

Matt and I got married at the LDS Jordan River Temple in September 25,2008! We had our luncheon at Matt's stake center, and had our reception at the Wadley farms. It was such a beautiful day to have a wedding! I can't lie and say that things went as smoothly as I wanted because they didn't, but they went almost as perfect as I had always imagine my wedding to be. The best part of the whole day was to look at Matt and be happy that I get to spend the rest of my life and for eternity with him!

Bridals

My dress was from Allysa's bridal and it was the first dress that I fell in love with. I liked other dresses but they weren't as "me" as this one. I had my pictures taken on a rainy day and thought it was weird that the photographer was suggesting that a rainy day is a perfect day to take pictures. At the end when I got the results, hard decisions had to be made on which I liked best!

Bachelorette party

My friends through my bachelorette party and it was quite fun! We played a game where they asked questions about Matt and if I got the questions wrong I would have to put some gum balls in my mouth. It was quite excruciating. After that, we opened gifts and had a little lunch. Out of my 5 best friends, 3 of us are now married.

Engagement Photos

Our engagment was not as stressful as everyone descibes theirs. I actually enjoyed every minute of it. I got the opportunity to spend more time with my mother and plus it kept me busy (which I like). Through our short 3 months of engagement Matt and I grew stronger not just within our relationship but individually.

Proposal

Matt proposed to me 7 months later and I thought it was the happiest moment of my life! Here was a guy who not only wants to be with me but who wanted to be with me for the rest of our lives and for all eternity (my soul companion). The way that he proposed was cute! He had gotten yellow roses and for every rose he had spelled out the words, "Will you marry me?" When he got down on his knees and asked I freaked and off course I said, "YES!!"

Dating

Where to begin? Since we're new at this I guess I'll just explain how we first met. For everyone that says the singles ward isn't the place to find your eternal companion, well Matt and I are living proof that it does work (although I was one of those people who always said that the singles ward wasn't where I was going to find the love of my life). It was funny because if you talk to Matt he'll say he was the one who made all of the moves, but in reality.....it was me. To make a long story short we started dating during the Christmas break of 2007, and we never looked back. It was fun while we dated, even though I went to school at SUU, it made some fun road trips to go see each other.
